This entry will be short. I just wanted to take a moment to welcome you all to our new family blog! We decided this would be a great way for both of us to share the "exciting" aspects of our life together. We made it through our first year of marriage with flying colors! I hear people say the first year is supposed to be the hardest. If that is the case, then we are in store for a pretty awesome marriage!
I would say we had a lot of fun and got to do some cool things in 2012! We spent a day site-seeing in San Francisco, spent a few days in Vegas and saw some amazing shows while there (Cirque du Soleil Mystere, Blue Man Group, Phantom of the Opera), spent a few days in Idaho at a giant family reunion, got to spend a few days in Northern California visiting my family, and did fun stuff around Phoenix too! Cassie took a ton of pictures of all our adventures and posted them on Facebook, so be sure to check them out there. I am sure that throughout this year she will post a lot more pictures there, and a select few will be posted here to the blog.
We don't know what this year has in store, but we are planning to take a trip to Nauvoo this summer - and that will be AMAZING, I'm sure.
Anyway, welcome to our blog... where we keep it Strickly Family (get it? play on words there? Strickly instead of strictly... because our last name is Strickland... get it???)
